THE PROJECT
- Project Summary
The company was created in 1998 after the employees buyout of brick manufacturing unit owned by a local public enterprise. In 2001, they ceded their shares to two natural persons who acquired a new production line (renovated) in 2004.
The equipment could not be installed due to the lack of financial resources.
A new hangar was built and the project was interrupted till the beginning of 2010 when the promoters oriented by BADR Bank contacted ASICOM for a partnership (The equipment acquisition was financed by this Bank). This partnership was concretized in May 2010.
ASICOM relaunched the project works which required a lot of prior actions including:
- The resolution of the project juridical-administrative situation;
- The technical studies resumption;
- The company remediation and Management.
- Factory Realization :
The workshops and equipment installation works started in the second half of 2011 including the kiln, the dry-kiln and the civil engineering construction. These works required more than 600 million dinars provided by ASICOM and institutional shareholders. The production started at the end of 2015.
